What day is it?

Well... it is obvious that i haven't posted for so many days XP

I still haven't gotten a new phone so blogging still won't happen that much =P haha XD

well, after day 20, there were many more days~ XP like the second half of that semester, then study break, then exams, then mid-year break. and then second semester @_@ urgh~ it's already week 7! D: mid-semester break isn't til week 10 too... =( i need a break D: i wish i could study n stuff in my dreams XP 'cos dreams usually go so fast they seem like they go on for hours when it's only like 15 mins =X

i duno whether i should transfer uniz, change course or both =( i want to change course 'cos the maths is getting really hard D: and it'll only get harder... it doesn't allow me to enjoy what i'm doing =( and on top of that, the unit i'm good at isn't a core unit >.> urgh~

i don't exactly want to transfer uni 'cos i'm already quite settled in... and hello? monash is ranked #2 in victoria~ XP travelling's not all that bad either...

kya~ had a mid-semester test already D: lots of assignments too... =( yasumi~ yasumi~ yasumi~ (holidays~ holidays~ holidays~) sometimes i wish i were back in school... it was less stressful XP less assignments too XD although there are more tests but they're alright if you know the subject you're doing =P ah wellz~ i should live in the present... but somehow, i don't feel like i'm living like that... i think i'm living as if i'm thinking "what if i die tomorrow? =O" and everything rips =\

i wish i could have a break from life so i can just totally be myself without having to worry about anything at all

Day 20

The 6.50 vline train at marshall was rather empty… the entire train was quite empty in fact… I left earlier to buy a day ticket… and I cubed a bit =P I returned dad’s phone yesterday so now I’m stuck with my own phone T.T which can’t send notes via Bluetooth so I have to type this out T____T now I don’t think I want to blog anymore D: I want a new phone XD I went to sleep on the train though it feels like I didn’t… I took the flinders street train and the Cranbourne train was late then moved to platform 7 which was on the other side……. Of the platform… that I was on… and yes I also heard the announcement… through my ipod… which I forgot to recharge so the battery’s dying… D: and I only had my phone to entertain me if the ipod needs to rip… which it fails at……

Yesterday, I was wondering where all the high school kids were when I remembered that they’re on holidays already… well… I’m on holidays now too! XD hehe… I had the maths lecture and I actually understood things… =P it was a good thing I was going around with sam today or else I really wouldn’t go to that lecture… =P I have a better reason than both my brothers to not go to a single one hour lecture XD jon showed me the way to his house and since I returned dad’s phone yesterday, I didn’t have a map T.T but I managed to get there alive =P hahas XD we talked and talked and played the ds and talked and got sent to the glen and talked…. Yes there were lots of talking… filled in by lots of silences… lol… we went to the post office to post something of hers then we went to have lunch… which was very hard to decide what to eat =P

After lunch, we went to buy movie tickets… if I knew what movie we were going to watch (and what cinema) I could have bought tickets at monash for 10.50… after buying the tickets, we went to kill time by walking around… how sad… time can actually be killed by walking around… =( anyway~ after walking around, we headed back, bought some popcorn and a frozen coke drink then we went into the cinema~ we watched The Last song and it was okay but I have now decided that I don’t like movies where there’s a guy and a girl involved and they like/love/indulge each other… they get too mushy every time now and they’re usually predictable… which spoils everything… after the movie, we went to the train station and gave each other a big hug… but we had more time to kill so we waited on some benches… then we walked to the corner where sam was getting picked up… and talked a bit more then we walked to the station again… and gave each other another hug not quite so big… =P while I was walking to the other side of the train, I texted sam saying I miss her already… =( the train ride was boring too… =(

when I got to flinders street, I was waiting for the southern cross train to come but a vline train came first and I asked a staff where the train goes… then he asked me where I wanted to go. I answered. He told me to get on the frankston train since it was going on the city loop and he told me to hurry because it was going to leave any second so I hurriedly hopped on… I arrived at southern cross and I headed for the 6.09 geelong train then I saw that the 5.47 south geelong was still there so I ran for it. I was very tired by the time I got to the platform but I still kept running. And I made it on time^^ hehe…

re-typing this is very tedious… I don’t think I’ll be blogging very often if I can’t transfer via Bluetooth… someone donate me money so I can buy the phone I want XD

Day 19

Dad sent me to the 6.50 marshall train and I copied the notes that I took on my exercise book to the maths lecture notes because I forgot to bring it yesterday because someone ... Vacuumed my room yesterday XD after copying it, I decided to rest since I was tired... But I didn't manage to get much rest... The vline train was late too... I took the flinders street train then I took a cranbourne train at flinders. Nothing special to report further about the public transport. apart from the fact that shuttle buses are still running XD maths lecture was (insert boring-related word here) and so was algorithmics but I brought my laptop to keep me entertained just in case ^^ then I had a 2 hour break with jon because I didn't have the computer systems tute. We had a snack and then we went to play snooker/billiard/pool. I lost 3 times XD then we had a fun round which wasn't very fun for me 'cos I couldn't do what I intended to do =.=" I'm such a noob XD then we had the java lecture and it was boring. Tim left early and I had my laptop to entertain me again XD I won a minesweeper game and the battery life was about 12% left =P then we had a 1 hour break and got a free drink. We waited for jon's friends and then they went to play car racing and then snooker/billiard/pool again XD. After that, we had to go to our lab class. The first question took one hour XD then we did 2-3 questions in the other hour =P after that, I headed home. I was going for the 6.07-ish train to Geelong and I got a text from amoz that the train he was on was still at the station so I tried to get to that train but it left… so I had to take the 6:07-ish… I arrived at Geelong station and called amoz and turns out the train he was on was at geelong station so I just hopped on XD

Day 18

I woke up at 5.08 but went back to sleep... Still wondering if that was a good idea... =P we took the 6.56 south geelong and at the station, I saw someone that looked like a guy when I saw the upper half but when I saw the lower half, s/he was wearing a skirt which made me wonder if she was a woman... =.= what colour hair do scottish people have? XD I tried to do some work on the train but I was tired... =/ I had a one hour break after the maths lecture though so I did it then... But I didn't manage to get much done... =.=" I saw danielle and josh lim. I think that's his name XD I managed to do up to one question left so I decided to do it during the computer systems lecture while she was going over not very complicated stuff =) and I did get it done ^^ but I hope it's right... =/ I was reading something about plagerising something which went like "... Taking information from another source and trying to pass it off as one's own ... Without giving proper acknowledgement ..." so I asked "if we source where we got it from, is it plagerising?" XD tim's ipod touch was just sitting there so I had a look at it then richard did... And played a game with it XD and I played too =P I won XD they were too fast but there were only three buttons... Which was hard =.= so I basically just spammed the buttons XD after the computer systems lecture, I had the java tute. It was boring D: I didn't exactly learn anything... =/ then I had the maths support class and handed in the assignment. Did a few questions of the lab sheet and... Got instructions on how to get to jon/sammi's place for thursday where I only have a one hour maths lecture at 9-10... Then I went home. There were people rushing to get to the platform even though there wasn't a train coming... It train was a bit late and I couldn't get on the 3pm marshall train... Neither could amoz... So we took the 3.28… I had nothing to do so I went to sleep XD

Day 17

you guys better love me for staying up to 10:30 just to upload this blog XD

Dad sent me to the 8.16 train at marshall and the train wasn't there yet... Well it was but it wasn't in place... Anita and ash were already there. The train seemed to be moving slower than usual but maybe that's 'cos I'm used to the 6.50 express train. It was rather dark outside and since the roofs at southern cross weren't fixed yet, the place was wet... I still can't find my umbrella though... So I had to use my hoodie... Or not.... It stopped raining... There was a train at flinders street where there was a wall of pouring water falling infront of a door XD I took a picture but it hardly showed the rain... I seem to be taking lots of pictures lately... =P I should upload some... XD I took a pakenham/cranbourne train timetable and made lots of markings in it =P the train to pakenham was late then at the last minute, they announced that it was going to platform 12 and good thing I actually heard the announcement XP I was hungry when I arrived so I went to look for something to eat but I didn't find anything enticing or cheap to buy so I left disappointed and hungry =( Lol...

We had computer systems first and I tried to pay attention since there were new and complicating stuff which were very complicating... I managed to take a few notes but I didn't fully understand everything =/ after the computer systems lecture, we had the algorithmics lecture where tim and I tried to do our maths assignment XD didn't really work though 'cos we were partly paying attention to the lecture... Lol... After that, I had the computer systems pass class and today's was rather useful. I had a little practice with all those identities and those laws and whatnot... >.> still not used to it though... Ahaha... D:

then we had the java lecture. I wasn't really listening and I decided to do maths... =P I think the class decided when to leave though 'cos we finished about 10 to 3 =P perhaps you are wondering why I was so frantic about finishing the maths assignment... It's because it is due tomorrow and we are going to sofia's for dinner XD I haven't eaten there for ages so I was looking forward to it =) I headed off to melbourne uni =P I was planning to do more maths but I didn't expect richard to find so many friends on the way =P I think this is my first time seeing a uni student with a nose ring XD Lol...

I got to flinders street and I walked up to the tram station. On the way up, there was this really weird guy that pushed me aside and told me something along the lines of "don't walk in people's way. I know you did that deliberately" Blah Blah Blah. I was scared at first but I was thankful to God that he was with me. I think that guy was a mental... I got off one tram stop early so I had to walk up...... Then I waited at the corner of kfc then got a call from cath. Then I walked towards her... And she walked towards me... Then... Whatever... We went to north melbourne then to southern cross then went to dfo to look for some snack foods... Then we did some homework... Still frantic about the work but a further look at the sheet didn't make it look too bad =P then we headed off to camperwell to look for sofias and took forever to order XD boaz also took forever come though =P I think we ordered too much also... =.= but we managed to "ta pow" it home ^^ (which literally means wrap a dead body but it's been more often used to package food home... Hahas...) then we headed home... We were all really full but the train wasn't coming soon so we took our time. There wasn't a vline train until 9-ish and it was about 8.17 so we went around and did various stuff to kill time.... like have dessert… =P

Then we hopped onto the train and… did work XD cath nearly missed her stop but I thought we were stopping at north shore >.>

Day 16

I managed to sleep quite well considering I was sick... Sure I woke up a few times but I slept soon after I woke up =) I woke boaz up to send me to the station since mum wasn't feeling too well... Like me... Hehe... I took the 6.50 train at marshall and tried to sleep some more which I did manage to do... But only for a couple of minutes... There was someone on the train that sat in the middle of the aisle with one of those foldable chairs =P

the vline train was early again =D I saw the elevator coming down so I decided to take that. It was a bit slow though... But it was worth it since I didn't have to push myself to go up the stairs then run for the train which just arrived then XD Yes... I had to run... I reckon the trains were early today 'cos I hardly saw any school students on the way =P today was rather foggy in the morning. I could barely see the monash uni at caulfield until we stopped at that station... you don't get to see that everyday... Hehe... The trains were very early! I arrived at uni at about 8.30 XD I had too much time to spare but richard was on the same bus too... I bought a tube of anticol 'cos I needed it before my throat dies of... Germs... Hehe XD

we had the maths lecture first and... Well... Same as usual... =P then I had the algorithmics tute and it was boring... I din't think this tute class is very interactive... Lawrence initiated a conversation with jon... On facebook XD the tutor basically just went over the things the lecturer went over... Which I guess is his job =P I don't have an algorithmics tute next week which means I'd be going up just for a 1 hour lecture... Unless Sam C and I meet up =D I haven't seen her for nearly 1 year D: I also haven't seen nikki D for a while... =( I demand reunion! XD

I headed home afterwards and didn't feel like eating lunch... Since I had an anticol in my mouth... =.=" it's hard to chew something soft when there's something hard in your mouth you know? =P anyway, I took the 1.20-ish warnabool train... Alone... T.T lonely~ I am so lonely~ I have nobody~ for my own~ ahhhhhh~

Day 15

when the alarm went off this morning, all I could think of was "nooooooooo!!!!!!!!!!" XD I wanted to sleep more.... I took the 6.50 marshall train and the parking was surprisingly full already... I did the work I was supposed to finish today on the train and then I tried to rest for the rest of the way. I've gotten worse since my sore throat yesterday... I have the sniffles now... D: the vline train managed to reach its destination earlier than yesterday so I could just wait for the cranbourne train (which was late...) and just stay on it without having to do any changes. Hehe... I took the shuttle bus and I saw a car... With a window fully opened... Like lolwut?

I got to the maths lecture on time and we did more probability stuff... I took a picture of the drawing I did yesterday and didn't understand much @.@ after the maths, we had the algorithmics lecture which was again not very interesting... Haha... I think this is becoming boring... XD I don't think the panadols are very effective... I had the sniffles throughout the lecture >.>

after through lecture, we had the computer systems tutorial. The tutor wasn't very happy with the class since most of them didn't do their homework XD I thought they normally wouldn't care if you did your work or not =P maybe that's what the others thought so they didn't do it... Haha... She ranted for a while =P the room was cold and I took another set of drugs... ... ... panadol..... It worked in the cold tute room but I was cold >.> but then we had the programming lecture which was in a warmer lecture hall but now my nose is sniffly...... ... ... Lecture was boring... =.="

after the lecture, I had a 1 hour break so we went to get free noodles and win a free t-shirt by playing... I think it's lawn bowls... And I got one ^^ but by the time I got it's it was time to go~ the lab was rather boring 'cos all I had to do was get the random character generator working and I was done =) well... The tutor pretty much told me how to do it in a subtle way but what was more important was understanding how it works =) since I finished early... I left early =P well... Two other guys left first so I asked if I could go as well XD it was so quiet... I saw a bus there but I couldn 't be bothered running after it and it paid off when I saw another bus coming XD until the bus that was waiting over took us on the way to the station =.= but still worth it nonetheless =) I just have to do the maths assignment which is due on tuesday... Eep!!!!

There were ticket inspectors at the train station but I have a feeling they don't have vline ticket users very often... The person checking my ticket took ages to approve it... =.= meh... Getting home earlier~ XD but the vline train departed late so we returned home around 7:20-ish pfft… I slept pretty much most of the way and since I had a stiff neck since this morning, it hurt D:

oh, and this guy next to me on the train had his iphone on so loud with earphones that i could hear it through my earphones =.="

Day 14

I took the 6.56 train with amoz at south geelong and read over a little of the maths lab questions and... tried to sleep the rest of the way. I felt a sore throat coming along and I was worried... I brought a stick on anticol but they didn't survive throughout the time I left home and returned... And my throat still hurts... T____T the train stopped again after leaving north melbourne and I was still annoyed about it... I still got to the lecture on time regardless though... Thanks to the shuttle transport ^^ I don't think I get anything I didn't know in the maths lectures... I always have to go over them myself... Since I never get anything that goes on, I decided to draw... =P it turned out nicer than I expected and I might just upload it^^ after the maths lecture, I had a break. I handed in the under 18 internet consent form... Which was annoying... It took me a week to hand in the form XD Hehe... I went to look at some earphones from the apple store 'cos mine were broken and I used 'earphones' instead... They were earphones butilities they were connected with hard plastic and it's not really my type... I prefer them to be loose... But the earphones there cost like $60+ @_@

After the break, I had the computer systems lecture and the lecture notes that I wanted the printer to print in grayscale came out a reddish pink... Except for the last page... xD the lecture I had no idea what it was on about... Like transistors and resistors and whatnot... Hardware stuff I suppose... I don't know hardware... What is hardware?? XD I don't like hardware...

After the lecture, I had the programming tutorial... Kinda boring though... But I managed to take a few notes... A few... Then I had the maths support class. I managed to do some work with the help of jon =] Hehe... Still need to do the rest of the questions though... Rawr! Then it was time to go home... I started to feel worse by the minute..... Mum! >.<

I rushed to get to Southern cross so i could take the train with amoz... by a simple thing called not waiting and looking for the train that leaves now, i was able to get on the same train^^

Day 13

Last night, 5 of us doing either software engineering or computer science were doing our algorithmics assignment. The last one was really hard but I decided to just send it in hoping that it at least shows my understanding... Boaz sent me to the station after watching his soccer at 11pm-2am and I took the 8.16 train with anita. we watched stuff on her ipod and a jdrama... Hehe... Now I want to watch more.... She got off at north melbourne and... The train just had to share tracks so the train stopped after leaving north melbourne... =.= I prefer taking the 6.50 train over the 8.16 train...

Well that's nice... All the trains I think are delayed... Or that's just the 9.38 flinders arriving at 9.54... I took that train and got off at flinders. The pakenham didn't come until 10.07 when it was supposed to come at 10.02... I think a lot of ppl are going ti be late today... I would have missed the 10:02 train if I wasn't looking for the changed tv times which changed platforms... Grrr.... Well I managed to get on it eventually... And arrive on time... I think the shuttle services are still running but I don't know for sure 'cos today's monday....

The first lecture was computer systems and I only got a bit out of it... But I get more things from the tutorials in which I have homework that she's going to check... >.> ah well... It motivates me to do my work =P I still need to do the maths questions and the java assignment... Oh dear... So much to do, so little time.... After the computer lecture, I had the algorithmics lecture and I didn't really get anything much... Just a little... The subjects that I'm doing seem to have more and more relation to the course butilities that doesn't mean that they're obviously useful... After that lecture, I had the pass class. I think a tutorial's more useful than a pass but hey, I get free notes XD then I had the java lecture and I wasn't really listening... They're very much based on the book so I could just simply read it and stuff.... And I drew some pictures XD I'm not going to upload it 'cos I'm a really bad drawer anyway... =P

after that, it was time to go home! Whoohoo! XD the bus line was a bit long but that didn't hinder us from getting on... Hehe... I asked richard where he got his phone from and he said taiwan... D: does this mean I have to get mine online if I don't want to pay $829 because only telstra sells them??? Ah well... Me not having a job is good 'cos I'm totally making sure I'm making a wise decision... Making making making sure sure sure... I still want it...

Oh, and my earphones are broken T____T the 4.13 marshall train was so late that the 4.40 marshall was boarding and I gave up waiting for the 4.13 that I just left and boarded the 4.40 train... I get home just a li'll but later but I prefer to board than stand XD and I walked home… =\ since I didn’t know that boaz didn’t go to uni… =.=”

Day 12

Mum sent me to The 6.50 train at marshall and I did some reading on the way. Blah blah blah same as everyday, I missed the first flinders train because train had to share tracks... so I took the frankston train... I can't imagine what chaos would happen if southern cross was the main station for vline and metro... And my legs are either dead or dying but I think it's dying... 'cos I can still walk and run but it's painful and aching from yesterday... T.T

I have to do lots of things tomorrow and one of them is recharging it... Which also means I can't use dad's phone anymore... (after he comes back) so I still have the small joy of using it while he's not here XD the metro trains were late too... =.= *sigh...* I don't want winter to come D: the weather was nice today... A bit warm but nice ^^

I arrived on time today! =D private shuttle service rocks! XD we're doing probability now... D: why didn't I do methods... T.T ah well... What's done is done... Can't change it... ... After the maths lecture, I had the algorithimics tutorial and it was boring ... The only classes that are a challenge to me are the maths and the computer systems... Ehehehe... Oh and the programming lab which isn't really a challenge but it makes me think =) I likes...

I hope I actually do some work on the weekend... Especially since I have two assignments due next week >.<

Day 11

Amoz sent me to marshall station so that I could take the 6.50 train since mum wasn't feeling well... I have a feeling that the flu season's coming... :S I hope I don't get sick... D: I did some reading then I tried to sleep since I had a long day today... I thought vline was going to e early because it was only 7.45 when we arrived but that was at north melbourne... >.> blargh! It was 7.54 by the time we arrived... 4 minutes past the time it was supposed to arrived... Get your own tracks vline/metro! Now I just missed a train >.>

Argh! I didn't take the train that was going to flinders street because the screen said there was one going to cranbourne >.> and after it left, the cranbourne train wasn't there D: hate public transport very much... And the frankston train that I took to flinders street stopped for a while >.> there has obviously been lots of disapproval of public transport in this blog... =P there were so many people getting on and off the cranbourne train at flinders street that the train wanted to leave while people were still boarding XD I got on the train and I heard it beeping so I thought 'phew, I made it in' XD

seeing as the shuttle service was still in effect, I was able to get to the lecture on time ^^ and it was maths D: I understood some but... It's so hard D: Lol... After the maths lecture, we had the algorithimics lecture and there was a PA announcement that was a test announcement XD

algorithmics is boring... Hehe... Then I had a 2 hour tute for computer systems and I was hungry inbetween XD it was pretty hard but since it was a tute, I understood better than I would if it was a lecture... We finished early so I went to buy some hot chips since I had to eat something or else my stomach would digest itself... If I don't eat in two weeks... Hehe XD then it was the java lecture. Also boring 'cos I read ahead =.=" the lecture ended 1/2 hour early so I had lunch and I saw mark. He had to leave but we made a quick small conversation. Then me and jon walked around.... And had lots of time to spare... The lab was boring too XD time went by slowly at first but the next thing I knew, it was 5 to 5 XD

I feel blessed today =)) starting from the time I nearly missed the train to cranbourne because there were lots of people. Or maybe starting the time Amoz volunteered to send me to the station. After the lab, I nearly missed the bus but I made it on time since I ran. The bus arrived just when the train was arriving and I ran like I never ran before, skipping steps and dashing... Could this be God's way of telling me I need to exercise? XD good thing I decided not to wear slippers too... Ah... Thank you God ^^ I ran out of water though >.<

Day 10

*yawn...* I woke up at 5.30 T.T and I took the 6.56 train at south geelong with amoz... I was a bit tired seeing that I woke up half an hour earlier XD either vline or metro was late but I think it was vline because there was a pakenham train at 8.01 and it was 8.03 when I got to the platform... What a big difference...seeing that I did miss the train, I took the 7.56 train to flinders... Yes... The 7.56.... Well... The public transports are weird as I have established many times... I got off at flinders street and got off to see what platform goes to pakenham or cranbourne... Which happened to be the one I was just on... *sigh...* why are they always weird in the mornings? =.=

As I posted before, the uni was providing free shuttle services from huntingdale station so I decided to go to huntingdale. and when I arrived, there weren't any people! Other than those that came off the train as well... Because a bus just left but I blame it on vline and metro...hahas... I made it on time for the lecture though... If you count the lecturer being late =P Lol... I was early and he was late XD

after the lecture, me and tim went to the library to work on the maths questions that we were given last week. We managed to do most of the questions that were easy to do... Hehe... We had the computer systems lecture next and I was making an origami jackstone... Ehehehe... The lecture seemed to go by quite slowly though... D:

after the lecture, I had the programming tute and it was a bit boring... And it's annoying how when you're paying attention, they don't ask you a question but when... For some reason, you daze off, you get called upon... *sigh...* after the tute, I had the maths support class where I asked how to do the harder questions =P I didn't finish my lunch but I wasn't that hungry anyway =) it was the last class so I headed home. And one thing I can comment on today is that the sun was really hot T.T I took the 3.28 train to south geelong. I tried to take a train that could get to southern cross earlier but no avail >.> I'll have to find out some other way again...

Day 9

I took the 8.16 train from marshall and found out that anita wasn't taking the same train... D: pity... Ah well... I guess I could do stuff on the train for an hour... I got off at north melbourne train station to see if taking the train to flinders street was faster than waiting on the train that stalled... Last week... Hahaha and I learnt something... Well... Not really... THE TRAINS ARE ANNOYING!!!! Just wait on the train next time.... Lol XD the vline train I was on was late too... Late as in it didn't reach its destinations on time... I think the public transports hate me... T.T

I took the frankston train from flinders street and when I got to caulfield, I saw the train for cranbourne coming so I ran down the slope, across to the platform and up the slope... And I died... After getting onto the train... I managed to catch the bus from huntingdale since it was only about 10.25 so there were less people... Hehe... I got there at about 10.30. A lesson, if you want to get there early, RUN!!!! XD my legs were dead =( so I took my time to walk to the lecture theater.

The other lecturer was back and I do indeed understand her much better than the other lecturer... But all those binary stuff are so confusing ><>.> after the lecture, I had the algorithimics lecture. it was okay and all I've learnt was to look for alternative ways... In summary of what I've learnt... Lol...

Then I had a PASS class where basically, we just go over things in more detail :P I don't think it was very useful but I think I just need to have more knowledge of what the subject is... I had lunch inbetween the algorithimics lecture and the pass class... Oh, and it turns out i went to the wrong pass class XD i was supposed to have one during the algorithmics lecture... =P ah well... i think i need the computer systems pass more than the computer programming XD After the pass class, I had the programming lecture... I don't like the lighting he gives us... It makes me sleepy... >.>

after the lecture, I headed home. =D Hehe XD I don't like how the trains that go to flinders street don't tell you whether they're going to southern cross and says on the screen 'please listen to announcements' =.=" I got off the train to get back on... I took the 4.13 train to marshall since the train at flinders street took ages to depart =.=" I'll have to find alternative ways to get to southern cross so I can get to geelong by 4.52 instead of 5.25 <.<

Over the first two weeks of semester, students and staff have experienced
significant delays in the morning at the Huntingdale Station waiting for
buses at the station to take them to the Clayton campus. The University
has contacted the bus companies and the Department of Transport to discuss
the issue and requested they urgently look at improving the bus services
so that they can better meet the peak period demands.

As an interim measure, the University will also be providing a free
shuttle bus service from the station to campus from 7.45am to 9.45am
(Monday to Thursday). This service is intended to take the overflow of
passengers that cannot get on the bus services 630 and 900. The
University will be closely monitoring the situation over the next few
weeks to make sure students and staff can get to campus in time for
lectures and work.

Monash is committed to working with the State Government to improve the
sustainable transport options for our campuses and it is hoped that staff
and students will continue to support public transport as an effective and
sustainable transport method to campus.

Day 8

I think... next time I'm going to get off at oakleigh station and catch the bus from there... I would have a higher chance to get on the bus and not be as late...

This morning, I took the 6.50 at marshall again and I was pretty much not doing anything except for organizing my timetable on my phone. It's a lot easier to look at and I don't have to haul my bag over to get my diary ^^ it wasn't very easy to organize it though! Hahaha XD I got a free newspaper that someone left behind =D

there were lots of people at the bus stop (which was why I decided to get off at oakleigh) but if oakleigh is just as crowded... Well... What am I supposed to do????!!!??! D: I think the buses should be more frequent in the mornings and afternoons than it is now... The maths lecturer went over things that I absolutely did not know... =( good thing it's the weekend! =D well... Not for the school kiddys XD I find most school kids to be annoying... Especially when they're ditching... Especially when I KNOW that they're ditching... Because they're still in their school uniform... Pfft... I miss the school work type/teaching though... Did I say how unis are like american high school with more freedom and different workload?... but no lockers? Because it very much like that... Even the toilets have graffiti...

After the maths lecture, we had the algorithimics tute and I played minesweeper while waiting for the tutor XD I actually managed to finish one advanced game xP the tute was for 2 hours and after that, I headed home. I had a roll of tempura salmon sushi =D I took the 900 bus to oakleigh station because as stated before, I had to search for alternative ways of getting to uni on time.... And today was just looking for which side I was supposed to take the bus XD It was further but I hoped that it would make a difference to actually getting on the bus rather than too many people making me late.... If that made sense... hehe

I took the 1:28-ish marshall with amoz to south geelong ‘cos that’s where his car was parked… and I was doing some java work and I have successfully finished the first part of the first assignment =DD then I played a game…. It was cute XP

Day 7

Wow it's been 7 days since uni started... I don't think my mind's even realised that I'm in uni XD. Mum sent me to the station because someone needed his beauty sleep... I took the 6.50 marshall train and did some reading on the way. And the vline paused after leaving north melbourne which was annoying... 'cos I missed a frankston train... I saw someone from the same tute yesterday at the platform (whose name I admit I forgot... Again... I'm so bad at names... D: the trains were running a bit late again today... Well... 3 buses came so I wasn't (too) late... Hehe... I had 2 lectures then a 2 hour tutorial. I ate a muslie bar between the lecture and the tutorial since I was hungry... Hehe... But I was still hungry after 1 hour passed XD

I had another lecture after the tute and I was hungry! But I had lunch afterwards so it was okay =) I bought a chicken burger and it was quite nice... But of course, everything here is overpriced... D: meh... It was a long day... And it made the 7 hour day not too bad^^ although, I'd say that the 2 hour lab was fun! =D I've already started on the assignment^^ Hehe... But I only have 2 weeks left =.=" jon didn't know he wasn't in the same class until the Uhh... Lab teacher marked the roll XD

I missed the first bus back... Well... I didn't miss it... The bus was full... again... That's the only time I would ever miss a bus.... But if I do actually miss it, I would blame it on vline and/or metro XD but really... That's like the only reason why I could miss a bus... I was sure I'd miss the 5.46-ish to marshall but amoz offered to stay with me til the 6 something to marshall... Although... He could have gone home earlier and fetched me at another station...

It was funny... When we got off at the bus stop, we could see the train coming so pretty much everyone was running XD

I should stop being surprised when people know where geelong is... We do have a footy team afterall...

Day 6

I woke up as usual but then i remembered that amoz was leaving for south geelong at 6.30... So i rushed... I ate breakfast in the car xD and it was a good thing that lunch was already ready... Hehe... I did some reading but i was kinda dazing off... The metro train that i was kinda dodgy... It kept on stopping for what may seem to me, no apparent reason... I stayed on it regardless because it was the cranbourne train... And it only stopped for 'no reason' around the flinders street and southern cross area but i believe i was late because of that... The first bus that came by was filled until the limit was reached... and i wasn't on it... wahhh... Oh, there weren't as many people as last week but there were still quite a number of people....and so i was late... D: i don't think i'm really getting anything out of these lectures... :S i guess i need to review the notes D: how tedious...

i had a 1 hour break after the first lecture then had the computer architecture lecture where the replacement was lecturing... Booo.... Then I had a tutorial and didn't really do much... *sigh...* after the tutorial, I took a muslie bar and quickly ate it before going to the maths support class... Which was boring because we were basically given time to work on the sheet that he gave us last week... And to ask for help if needed.... But I had already gotten help from my two lovely big brothers ^^

after the said support class, I headed home... After eating my sandwich... Hehe... I missed the 3pm train to marshall so I had to take the 3.28 to south geelong... It would have been crammed if I caught the 3pm anyway... mum picked me up from there since dad's already left for myanmar... And I don't have to cycle home! Hehe

Day 5

It's monday! And it's labour day! With no holiday =.=" how sad... And the transports are highly confusing.... Bleh... I took the 7.24 coach to southern cross with Anita and Amoz... And Ash... we (anita and i... Or just me...) didn't expect ash to be on the same coach but we were... Hehe... There was a hailstorm on saturday and according to people, the hails were the size of golf balls... There was also lots of rain that streets were flooded... And winds went up to 100 km/h... Wow... we arrived at southern cross and i took a few pictures of the partially collasped roof but they weren't very good because the part that broke was plastic-ish and the light made it almost invisible.... On the camera... Haha... I usually take the train from platform 12 but part of that roof collasped so the trains were moved to platform 13... Amoz missed his train so he took the one that was going ahead of the train he missed... Eg. The same as mine... XD but i got off at flinders street to catch the train that goes to pakenham since i was on the train to frankston... It's faster to go to flinders and wait for the train there anyway... Hehe...

i read on the metlink website that the trains between oakleigh and dandenong would be replaced by coaches... By which i'm confused because the tv for the train said that it was stopping at all stations... Ahhh... public transport... How i love you to the extreme opposite... Haha the train was stopping at a station and the announcement volume was distorted xD

so apparently, the trains were replaced by buses... And i was right xD hehe i took the bus to uni and i think these buses have hydraulics for passengers to board and alight... Sugoi! Hehe... I arrived 1 hour before the lecture because it's labour day and transport run on weekend times... Grr... i hung out with caylie for an hour xD

when it was about 10.45, we both headed off to our lectures... I was seated... With kai, jon and richard... We had a replacement lecturer i think... But i prefer our original lecturer... even though her indian accent was stronger... She spoke slower... After that lecture, we had a "break" which was a "break" because i thought jon, richard and tim were in the same lecture... in fact, i still think they are... Haha xD we had the algorithimics lecture and after that we went to a bbq =P free food!! Hehe xD after the free bbq, we headed to the computer programmibg lecture. i didn't print any lecture notes because he went through them quite quickly last time but today, he seemed to have gone slower... Ah well... Next time i'll bring my laptop... Hehe...

after the lecture, i headed home. The trains at huntingdale were replaced by buses too but people seemed to have forgotten that... Hahaha we all went to the platforms xD then it was found that there weren't going to be any trains coming, we headed back out to the bus stops =P after catching the replacement bus to the station, we caught the train... On the train, there were 2 people inbetween the carriages... Outside.... I took a few photos... Hehehe xD i hope those photos are clear though...

I missed the 4pm coach to marshall because the train decided to go round the city loop... =.= i bought myself an ice cream and walked around the station... Taking some photos... Hehe.... I met up with cath and we intended to go back on the same bus but.... The buses are all express... To their individual stops... Gah.... I didn't see the point though because the buses were quite empty..... =.= well... It was for the bus to marshall...

Day 4

Ah... If the lecturer didn't say that we had a tutorial today, i would have just gone up for an hour.... But phew xD hehe i really am getting the hang of public transport! =P i took the 6.50 train again because... All 3 maths lectures are on tuesday' wednesday and thursday at 9am... Ah well... I should be grateful because i don't have 8am starts ^^ hehe... And so far, most of my travelling times are solo T___T i want a travel buddy... T___T especially on the way back 'cos i tend to fall asleep...

I usually do some work on the way up but for now, i find that i only have enough work to keep me busy for the 1 hour ride up to southern cross... Then i get bored... Ugh... Hehe i tried to pack my laptop into my bag but then i thought that i shouldn't bring it 'cos i didn't think that i would need it today... And it was quite heavy...

When i got to the bus stops, there were more people there than yesterday (but less than tuesday) and i had a feeling that i'd have to wait for about 4 buses before i could get on but when the first bus came, it seemed like i would only have to wait for another bus... Or two... Hehehe but 2 buses came at the same time so i guess that counts for 3 buses? There were still quite a lot of people waiting but i'm happy that i got on =P

i managed to arrive on the but the lecture theatre was all the way on the other side which caused me to walk and reach there on the hour... And still be on time... Hehe...i understood most of the maths lecture until he got to the part about universal, interceptions and other stuff that is not within my biological soft (hard) drive... Lol

after the maths lecture, we had the algorithm tutorial... we had a hard time finding the place even though someone had the map... Not blaming you (you know who you are...) because i blame the map... I couldn't find that building on open day...

anyway, there were about 16 of us and we worked in small groups and got to know a few people... I managed to talk a bit more... ^^ happy happy... Hehe

none of us wanted a break so we had 2-ish hour of tutorial and finished about 1/2 hour early (so we had about 1 1/2 hour tute). i decided to check out the apple store and soon came out with nothing special in mind/hand... T.T i r poor... And since i didn't have anything special, i headed home... the train i was went on the city loop and i paniked a bit... But i managed to arrive on time to catch the 1pm train which stopped at geelong station meaning i didn't have to cycle home... Yay! Hehe but i had nothing to do on the train because i didn't understand most of the maths stuff xD

Day 3

I took the 6.50 express train from marshall because amoz didn't have a lab class at 9am since it was the first week. I read the first chapter of java on the way and found that it was rather easy to concentrate even though i dazed off once in a while... Hehehe... I'm getting used to the public transport system but if there is going to be this many people waiting for the transport (which happens to be less people now...) then i may have to take an earlier train... Ugh... But i hope that most of the other students here have an earlier class than i XP muahahaha!!!!! I'm sorry... I missed one bus because it was "full"... I don't think these people know how to cram... that or it's the law since they're usually licensed to carry ___ people... Lol...

I managed to arrive at uni on time xD i hope that this is the public transport's effort to fix their first impression that they made on me... Hehe i did some maths the night before in which i actually went ahead so i understood a bit more on what was going on. Hehe. Then we had the algorithm lecture... I very much spaced out though... Bleh... Then we had a 2 hour break and got a minute amount of free stuff... Then we went to the java lecture. He went over the slides quite quickly but it was more of a revision of what he went through last time... Then he showed us some stuff on JCreator which is a java programming software... Funny... You need a software to program software... Hehehe xD i headed home after but i'm sure next week, i'd be having class until 5pm and won't reach home until 7.30 T.T anyway, i got back at about 4.10 and i cycled home... Managing not to die xD

Day 2

got up at 5.30 to go to the train station with amoz. I was trying to print lecture notes the night before and didn't get to bed til 10.15. We went to south geelong station and ... Well... He went to sleep... How boring... Hehe... I was still tired but i thought that by going to sleep, i would be more tired during lectures so i didn't. I dont' like public transport... I would say i nearly got a minute heart attack when i heard that it was an express train to cranbourne... I thought it was going to go straight to cranbourne... >.> i was really unsure about staying on the train but i decided to trust my guts... Which was hurting.... When i got off at the station' there were so many students waiting for the bus that at least 7-8 buses had to come before they were all cleared... And of the 7-8 buses, 3 came at the same time which cleared most of the students. I hope that it was only today so that i don't have to wake up earlier... And i was late for the lecture again today... Time-2, public transport-0. The first lecture was maths for computer science... It was so confusing i didn't get anything =S now i have to review notes on the way back =.= then we had a 1 hour break then we had another 1 hour lecture. The lecturer went quite fast so i decided that i would bring my laptop to lectures.... well... Apart from the maths lecture... After that, we didn't have anymore classes so we all went our own ways. I saw Felicity and chatted with her for a while and then i signed up for the anime club and got free pocky! Well i don't exactly think it was for free because i had to pay 10 anyway... After that, i headed home... But the weird public transport was weird.... Again... Ok so i took the train towards flinders street expecting it to go straight to southern cross but when we were at flinders street, the next stop was the one the train stopped before... And i was still in the train =.= grr.... So i had to change trains, get to flinders street, check if it was going to southern cross (in which i had to get off the train which was hard to do 'cos there were a lot of people...) and off i went.... To southern cross... I texted amoz to see if he was going to be on the same train and yay! So we headed back together.... And i got to have a car ride back! XD

Day 1

First day of uni. It sorta felt like the first day at christian college... But more independant... Hehehe. Anita was on the same train as i was and i enjoyed the trip there. We compared timetables and dates of exams and holidays... lol... she left at north melbourne and for some reason, the train stopped and didn't move for nearly 15 minutes. I took a train to frankston which departed at 9.45-ish because the next train that goes to huntingdale was at 10.05 and my lecture starts at 11... I got off at caulfield and took a bus to clayton but apparently, it's faster to take a bus from huntingdale to uni... =.=" i arrived a bit late but since it was only the first day, it was just introductions to the unit. The lectures went by rather quickly but our 1 hour break was quite slow. I kept dazing off in the last lecture and i realised that i didn't really get anything @_@ i headed home afterwards and found out that taking the 900 bus goes to the station a lot quicker... Hahahah i hoped to reach home by 5-ish or else i'd have to cycle back and get home close to 5.45 but as i expected, the slow public transport was slow... Like why did we have to wait at flinders station for like 10 minutes!?!???!? Ah well... I managed to get a seat on the last carriage which is good ^^ but i pretty much died when i got home... I offically hate public transport.
